Sportfishing
Bohicket offers inshore and offshore fishing. On an inshore fishing trip your captain will take you and your party along the creeks, marshes and rivers to scout out red fish, trout, flounder and much more. If it is a calm day, they can take you out to the near shore reef located at the inlet of the North Edisto River; there, you will have a chance to catch tarpon, sheepshead and spadefish along with several other varieties of fish. Fly fishing is also available.
On an offshore fishing excursion you can go 20 to 90 miles offshore. Closer inland you may catch sharks, tarpon, and black sea bass. As you go out further you will be hunting down king mackerel, wahoo and tuna. When you reach the Gulf Stream you will have a chance to reel in a big game fish such as dolphin (mahi mahi) or the ultimate catch: marlin and sailfish.
