Kiawah and Seabrook. We cruise past the historic Andell Plantation house
and down river by Jenkins Point Plantation and the commercial fishing
docks at Cherry Point. Further downstream we see the shrimp boat fleet
at East Coast Seafood including several boats used in the film Forest
Gump. Next we cruise back in time past the historic village of Rockville
into the pristine North Edisto River, which is the northern boundary
of the ACE basin, a 550 square mile maze of uplands, wetlands, sandbars,
creeks and rivers abounding with wildlife. Dolphins play alongside as
your captain shares the local lore and natural history of the lowcounty
and you enjoy a cool drink and a gorgeous sunset!
